A Laminar Operating Theatre is designed to provide a clean environment inside the operating room by controlling the purity of the air and the number of microbes through effective filtration and airflow. The Modular Operating Theatre relies on its unidirectional flow system to continuously bring clean air above the surgeons while also removing dirty air from below, preserving a clean and healthy area for everybody working inside.
1. Grade I Operating Theatre: Suitable for surgeries requiring ultra-clean environments, such as cardiac surgery and organ transplantation, with a cleanliness level of ≥ISO 5 (≤3,520 particles of 0.5 μm/m³).
2. Grade II Operating Theatre: Commonly used for high-risk surgeries such as joint replacement and neurosurgery, with a cleanliness level of ≥ISO 6.
3. Grade III Operating Room: Suitable for general sterile surgeries such as caesarean sections and orthopaedic surgeries, with a cleanliness level of ≥ISO 7.
4. Grade IV Operating Room: Used for clean surgeries and certain sterile procedures, with a cleanliness level of ≥ISO 8.
